I can say for sure that I'm very sorry this happened. I think it will work itself out. I am not a mother-in-law, but I have one, and I can say from a daughter-in-law point of view that she might find you to be overstepping your bounds sometimes, a little bit smothering, and highly annoying. It kind of comes with the territory of being married. I also feel that loving, involved grandparents are extremely important to children, and I hope that she sets aside her own personal feelings and perceptions and does what is best for her children, which is to step aside, allow you to enrich the lives of the children, and keep peace in the family. Am I going insane, or is my roommate into me?!?

About eight months ago my roommate/very close friend was going through a very rough time, dealing past abuse. Nightmares and awful episodes of night terrors, I was there through thick & thin. If you are familiar with night terrors, you know how terrifying it can. Blood-curdling screams,intense fear, uncontrollable crying-- It got so bad I had to sleep in the same bed with her every night, or she couldn't sleep. Once she nearly broke her neck sleepwalking down the stairs. So naturally I was afraid for her own safety. Months later and she's been in therapy and has been doing immensely better. I still stay with her nearly every night. And the nightmares/terrors are rather scarce. So, here's the thing, over the past few months she’s become very attached to me. She is so utterly affectionate to the point where I am confused and not sure what the true nature of our relationship is. Lately every night she'll ask me to hold her & cuddle her more than we often do. I can't begin to count the amount of times we've woken up with our legs entwined, her face buried along the side of my neck. I am a girl and yes, gay. I don't mind at all doing any of these things for her. In fact I look forward to being there for her. Anyway it's sorta become habit, every night I rub her back or stomach, it helps her sleep. But last night she put her hand under my shirt running her hand and fingers against my stomach. She's never done that before. But I didn't bring it up or make a big thing out of it. The way she was touching me though just felt different in a sorta subtle way. Lately She's been kissing me on the lips very often…but the way she does it always leaves room for me to wonder. Is she hitting on me or is she just naive like that? When she hugs me it’s always full body, No matter where we are and she always lingers. I don’t know if this is normal for her. Sometimes I swear she knows exactly what she’s doing. Last night we both went out to a friends house party. Everyone was sitting in the living room talking and laughing. My roommate gets up from the couch, walks over to me in the middle of the room, full of people and wraps her arms around my waist. I am so comfortable and use to her I warped my arms around her, holding her. She said "I love you" leaned up and kissed me on the lips. But I am honestly not totally sure what this means? The way she said it and the way she looked makes me feel like she meant it not in a platonic way. The rest of the night she snuggled against me,her hand slipping under my shirt caressing my back, on and off. I do have very strong feelings for her. it's safe to say I'm very much in love. Okay, long story somewhat short me and my girlfriend have known each other for almost 4 years and been together about 6 months..please don't say we don't know what love is and that's not long enough to fall in love. Now her mom is supposedly filing an injunction against me..can she legally do that? Sick Dwarf Gourami - Please Help Quick -?

I have a male gourami with a swollen belly. He hasn't eaten in 3 1/2 days (since Sunday). Last night I isolated him in a floating breeder tank, in my large community tank. I was absolutely certain based on what I have read that he was constipated and I didn't want him to eat just in case. He was hanging out on the bottom of the tank rather than his hidin in the floating anacarus at the top of the tank. In the 6 weeks I have had him he has NEVER stayed at the bottom so I knew something was wrong. For 4 feedings in a row (twice a day) he didn't eat. Then I noticed his belly got fat. I peeled a cooked pea and put a very tiny amount in the tank for him last night but he didn't eat it so I took it out this morning. Tonight I noticed his belly is less bulgy than last night, however my powder blue dwarf who is staying right next to him on the outside of his floating tank, I noticed their eyes are very different. My powder blue's are normal and my sick gourami has kind of bulgy eyes. I have looked at the pop-eye pics but none of his symptoms seem to match exactly. I don't know if it is a new symptom or if I am just now noticing them because the powder was right next to him side by side. CAN ANYONE TELL ME if all of this matches one illness or do I have overlapping symptoms. By the way part of the convincing part of the constipation was he was kind of swimming sideways almost flat as if it was a symptom of swim bladder problems from overeating. Here all of the symptoms listed: Labored Breathing, Bulgy Stomach, Bulgy Eyes, Not Eating, Not Pooping, Swimming or Laying Sideways when Fatigued. ABSOLUTELY HAS NO PINE CONE SCALES. It is not dropsy (I hope) unless the pine cone scales haven't presented yet. By the way on a completely separate side note I have not changed the quantity of food (minuscule scooper in jar), amount of water changes (25% tonight - Wednesday and 20% on Sunday). On tonight's water change, I HAVE NEVER EVER seen the water so dirty. There was so much poop on the bottom of the gravel. The 1 thing I did different was put some Stress Zyme in the tank for my very first time. My LFS owner suggested that on Sundays water change. Could this have caused the extra poop build-up? I have never used it before. I have had my aquarium set-up with 90% of the same fish for 8 months now- so for all of a sudden extra poopy dirty water just doesn't make sense to me. Any ideas?

I can't comment on all of the golf mentioned. However I have played Pro V1, the Callaway, and the Nike One Black/Platinum. I am partial to Nike and that goes beyond golf. I like the Nike One ball better than the Pro V1 and Callaway simply because I hit it farther. All are great around the greens. The Nike One in my opinion are a touch softer. How long does pain last/if any, after a mini root c in children?

My daughter is 10 and was told that she needs to have a mini root c in one of her back teeth. Her DDS told us to not even tell her because it would be just like he was filling a cavity and she wouldn't know the difference. I have to agree with the first responder to this question. Parents who name their child/children weird names is the worst thing they could do. I know a family friend who is going to name her baby Anastasia. It's a pretty name, but it makes me think of the Walt Disney version of Cinderella, where one of the step sister's names was Anastasia. If you hold the suspense for too long the audience will expect a heroic escape or something. A TRUE villain would just kill her. Well teaching is hard and even when it is for an older person. I am some what computer illiterate and i have basically taught myself all that i do know. I can tell you that it is easier when teaching someone to do something that you teache them step by step and do it slow for the comfort of the other person but for you as well. and patients is a vurtue!!!!!! but when you are teaching someone something that they do not know it is hard for them to grasp it if it is all getting thrown at them at the speed of light. A mother american robin has abandoned her three babies on my balcony. Can i help them?

A robin built a nest on a lamp on my balcony. we dont use it much, so i thought we wouldnt scare her off and i let her leave it. She laid three eggs, incubated them and they all hatched. If i noticed she was out of the nest i would sneak up there and take a picture. Now i havent seen her in days, the nest is falling apart and the babies are gasping and looking terrible. the local DOW cant help as robins are not protected... I'm going to an endocrinologist to see if I have something wrong ociated with my glands, pituitary, adrenal etc. because I have symptoms of high cortisol and chronic nausea. If they do an MRI of my pituitary will this also show my brain so I can see if I have anything like a brain tumor? Or will I have to go to a neurologist too?

I would tell you to get a male and not a siamese ( siamese are knwon for aggression)...males are usually morequiet and they dont give birth..but they spray..unless you adopt a fixed cat. To keep a cat is not expensive...well the first thins you buy ( plate and litter box and food) will be about 100$ but after that you only spend for food and litter. my cat is not a problem. I LOVE the way you spelled Karsyn and Kamryn!! so i completely disagree with those who prefer more traditional spellings for those 2 names :) I would definitely go with one of those 2, they are sooo cute, but will age very well. of the 2 i think i like the look and sound of Karsyn slightly, and when you look at the meanings of the names (Karsyn mean Christian and Kamryn means bent nose) i think i would prefer Karsyn. have you thought about using Karmyn (Carmen) it means poem or song i think and it has a similar feel to the other names. Why can't I locate a swinging door for my kitchen? Is it that all I need to do is buy special hinges?

I moved into my grandparents' old bungalow, and the swinging door that led from the dining room to the kitchen that I remember from decades back is gone now. We had tenants in the place for a long time, and I guess they removed it, but it's nowhere to be found. I did an online search for 'swinging doors, but came up empty. I don't want a regular hinged door, a bifold door, or a cafe door. It needs to go all the way to the floor and be sturdy enough to keep my cat out when I need her to, but be easy to move from room to room while carrying dishes of food. Am I searching for the wrong thing? Am I just supposed to buy a regular six-panel door with no knob hold to fit, but hang it on special hinges?

Tilapia is low-fat farmed fish that is relatively new in US via the peace corps since 1990's. It's cheap, and cannot ever be presented as cuisine clique. Fine chefs don't like it. We certainly never had this as kids in prior decades. I had it for the first time in FL in late 1990's. To me it's nothing. There's little to no benefit of omega-3's in it, apparently, unlike herring or mackerel, etc... Also it is a rather tasteless fish. On the other hand we shouldn't be eatting ANY big fish at all. We used to think of fish as something wild. Today people don't even know one from the other, and are more and more detached from any notion of wild food, from wild blue berries to mushrooms, and a hundred of other examples that make us poorer. The domesticated model replaced the wild one. 50% of fish in US is farmed.

My HMO plan allows me to have routine tests such as mammograms, MRI's, Xrays, bone density screens, etc in a hospital or hospital facility without paying the hospital deductible ($200 for my plan). BUT, if, I need a follow-up test (further mammogram pictures, etc) OR, if I have any diagnostic exams/tests at the same hospital-ociated facility, I must pay the $200. And no co-pay if I go to a facility NOT ociated with a hospital. This is not written in any of my plan doents. It cost me $200 to find out this hidden "fine print", and my primary doctor's staff still refers me and my children to the hospital for all tests. I find an optional facility by myself, then call the doc to have a new referral made. Cigna said that my doc probably gets a kickback from the hospital . Anyway, after my $200 lesson, I SAVED $1000 copays for my family this year. Is this feature common with all of the Cigna plans? Is it common with all HMO's? Does everyone know this already?

Laying a tile floor.?

I have demo'd my powder room down to the concrete floor (in the addition part of the house) and I want to lay tile instead of linoleum, etc. My question is, what is the best way to lay tile on the concrete floor? Espresso definately. Most teas have caffine like all of Tazo's products. But in the morning if you want to wake up, go to a starbucks and just order straight shots of expresso, they're like .55 cents each. They taste kinda nasty but they will get you up. If you go to their website j.com and check the closing prices for their funds, you should see a closing price that matches your brokers quote, but the change will be more like (1.5%) instead of (20%). Mine was (10%) per Ameritrade, but (1.4%) per J. It should be corrected on Monday. If not I would call your broker.

Is a steam mop okay for my "fake" wood floors?

I was just wondering if I use a Steam mop (like the Shark Steam mop just for suggestion) would it damage my floor? i want something that makes the wood sparkle again. i've tried vinegar and water but it just makes the house stink and the floor rises because of the water. Because steam basically is just vaporized water would it make my floors rise as well? I will be getting out of the military in January and decided I should start looking for a job now. I had an AA degree in general business before going in and while in the military I learned Mandarin Chinese and got a Top Secret/SCI clearance. My desire is to land a computer related job. Currently I am just training myself as much as possible when I have off time. Working on getting CompTIA A+ certified and then I will be going for Network+ certification. Are there companies out there that will pay for me to finish IT training just because that is cheaper for them than to hire someone with an IT degree and try to get them a clearance?

They do and say things to feel more secure. Such as cheat. A lot of men cheat because of insecurities, the other women make them feel sercure in a way the wives couldnt. Until he feels fully validated as a person, he wont be the man you married. It may take going to counseling or helping him get a job or somehow find a way to make him feel like a major contributor in your household. Don't give up yet, however, don't get walked on. Let him know that you understand that the economy is bad.
