Cogenital ptosis?

My daughter has congenital ptosis, but none of my family member has it, anyway she is 7 months and want to know if i should fix her eye, with surgery. Congenital ptosis is when the one ot both of the eyes are lower than regular, it can usually be mistaken for a lazy eye. I don't want her to grow up, and ask me what's wrong with her eye, or why other people at looking at her differently, or why her eyes don't look like everyone elses.
