Is it a bad idea to bring an aromatherapy vaporizer in my luggage on a plane?

I have a digi-vapor aromatherapy vaporizer (The wood box one). I want to bring it on vacation with me in my luggage. I am not going to bring it in my carry on, or bring the whip (bowl). I have used marijuana out of it before, that is why im not bringing the bowl part. However, the box part smelled like weed until I cleaned it. I am uming that of course a dog can still smell this. I want to bring it on vacation and order another bowl to my location, but I do not want to get my $200 vaporizer confied in the process. In conclusion, is it a bad idea to bring in my actual luggage (not carry-on)?
