Help Me Please I'm Scared!?

Ok When I Get My Period The First Few Days I Have Cramps Really BAD!! They Get So Bad To Where I Have To Curl In A Ball. I've Taken All The Pain Medications That You Are Supposed To Take But It Dose Nothing. I Just Recently Started On The 4th This Month And We Were At Macall, ID. And I Was Miserable I Took Tylenol And It Took For Ever To Kick In And When It Finally Did It Only Lasted For Like A few Minutes. And I've Actually Got Them So Bad That I Stared Bawling My Eyes Out. And When They Get That Bad I've Actually Got Sick Like Barfing. Is That Normal!?! My Mom Told Me That We Could Put Me On Birth Control But I'm Scared To Use That Cause You Can Get All These Types Of Side Affects And Cancers And Stuff. What Can I Do Please Help Me. My Boyfriend I Really Worried About Me Too.
