How did you go about choosing your hospital?

I moved to ct 1 year ago. I became pregnant about 5 months after moving here. Chose a doctor close to my area. My doctor is affiliated with the hospital in my town, but I don't know to much about the hospital. Did some research online and scheduled for a tour of the birthing center on the 27th. It is not a well known hospital so I do have concerns. Wish my doctor was affiliated with well known hospitals like Danbury, Norwalk, Stamford, Greenwich hospital. Anyone of you know anything about hospitals In the New Haven County Not specifically New Haven the City The county meaning any town in the New Haven county.
